Located just one hour away from Cairns, nestled in the beautiful Atherton Tablelands, is the idyllic 'Genazzano Retreat'.

Complete with water and amenities, the picturesque grounds of the Genazzano Retreat are the perfect place to setup camp.   The camp sites are large and well spaced.

There are 4 powered sites and spacious non-powered sites, all with Lake views, that ensure privacy and tranquillity.

The campsite is situated on the Barrine Peninsula, a short 7km drive off the Gillies Highway and only 20  minutes from the sleepy town of Yungaburra.

Yungaburra, the historic heart of the Tablelands, was established in 1890, and is listed by the National Trust of Queensland.

Yungaburra has been a preferred holiday destination since the early 1900's with visitors returning to experience the charm of the village which has existed largely unchanged, with many of the original buildings still in existence.
